Shikha and Darpan

What a day for a wedding! At first it looks like it is going to rain and then the clouds go away for a perfect day! Shikha and Darpan were married at the Sheraton Premier. Dave of Dholi Mastana got the barat going and EventEQ kept the party rocking on through the reception! As always, Prabha Bhambri did a great job with the mandap decor! She never ceases to impress!

Ok, enough of the shout outs! Seeing these two tie the knot was awesome. After the ceremony some of those emotions spilled out and these are the moments which make covering peoples day so worth it! Darpan didn’t have to think long about his Clooney-esqe styling for our couples time which makes my job a lot easier!

Congrats to the newleyweds and happy honeymooning guys!

Amanda & Jeff

Man O man am I behind on my blogging! Soooo Amanda and Jeff are getting married this coming September. Jess and I will be attending their wedding as guests so we won’t be shooting (bitter sweet right?!). When we did this e session it was when we were having all those thunderstorms. I think it was something like 20 out of 24 days with rain…we chose one of the days without rain! Ok so we got lucky but who’s counting?! w00t w00t!

They arrived for the session and right away tell me how they don’t know how they will do with the session since they had never done this sort of thing! Well Amanda, I think we got some pretty kick _ _ _ shots! Congrats on the engagement guys and we can’t wait to see you two tie the knot this fall! Lets cross our fingers for some great weather on the big day!

He looks like a little Frog!

Sooooo….as I was preparing for a wedding this past Saturday Jess tells me not to be alarmed but she was starting contractions! Naturally a guy who is about to be a first time father and knows next to nothing about child birth is freaking out inside. Outside I am playing it cool with Jess and talking with her about what our gameplan was going to be! Any women reading this know that the whole labor process can be a very long and arduous process! Long story short…I made it to the hospital at 11pm that night and we waited
A L L N I G H T L O O O N G…good things come to those who wait right?! Well that saying couldn’t be more true in this case.

Being a wedding photographer I am fortunate to cover events for people that are right up there with the most important day of their lives. I can honestly tell you watching my first born son being born was far and above the coolest thing I have ever seen and is right up there with marrying my wonderful wife Jess. Being able to capture these memories was priceless for me and my wife Jess. For all you grooms out there just wait ’til your future wives give birth to your children…you’ll know what I’ talking about when that moment comes. That’s the best part about doing what I do. Everyday I get to see people at the happiest moment to that point in their lives! How awesome is that!?

Ok, enough of the talk…here are a few of my favorites from the last 72 hrs and let me tell you…this was tough to widdle down to what I posted!

June 25, 2009 - 11:39 am Great "Aunt" Sharon - I am "bawling" like a baby over here! Logan has FABULOUS, pouty lips. He should never need BOTOX! He is the proverbial "beautiful, bouncing baby boy". Ben, I loved the anticipation of the way you set up the site to view Logan. I kept thinking to myself, "Am I ever going to see him?" I LOVE the one where he is laying on his tummy with his tush in the air. I am so proud of you two and can't wait to see Logan. Enjoy your time with your little bundle of joy! The picture of Grandma and Grandpa came out so nicely. Love is definitely written all of their faces. Love you three, Aunt Sharon

I have arrived safely in India and am just so happy that Logan came early so that I could be there to greet him into the world. I can't wait to get back to hold him again!
