When Jess and I first met Shelly and Matt for their engagement session in DC at the National Cathedral this couple had just gotten back from India for the first part of their two part wedding ceremonies! Well the time has finally come for their ceremony here and celebrate we did! The ceremony was at the Sheraton Premier in Tysons Corner and it was a beautiful day for the bride and groom.

Matt put a little of his own spin on his barat by riding in via his friends Audi A8. This car fit Matt and his style perfectly as you can see from our stylish groom in front of the beautiful car! Don’t let this unconventional barat fool you because they got the party started early with the dancing and celebration! The reception even had a set aside corner for kids to play and as you can see they had some Halloween props! All that’s missing is the fake blood, cape and the Transylvania accent! Congratulations Shelly and Matt! We had a great time with you guys on your day.

Kajal and Mayur met up with Jess and I in Old Town Alexandria for a morning of fun and freezing cold for some engagement shots! Who would have thought it was 80 degrees out just one week ago! Despite the cold weather we had a great time with this couple and got some great shots in the meantime! Keep an eye out for this couple since they will be getting married very soon.

The time has finally come for Jeanie and Mike. From the time we ventured out to the farm they live on for their engagement pictures, we knew we would have a great time with Jeanie and Mike on the day of their wedding. Once the nerves of the ceremony had passed, they kept us laughing the entire reception from Footloose to Thriller.

Jeanie and Mike came to us as clients looking for a photographer earlier this year and have since turned into friends. We got to learn all the details of the wedding as they were being planned. We especially appreciate being treated just like guests at their wedding, from attending the rehearsal dinner to place cards and seats at the reception. We also got to meet Mike’s beautiful daughter Alyssa who stole the show along with Jeanie’s niece when they forgot to throw the flowers and froze at the end of the aisle! Mike and Jeanie were married yesterday at the Fauquier Springs Country Club in Warrenton, VA and we could not have asked for a more beautiful day for their ceremony. We are so happy for this awesome couple. Congrats guys!
