Ok, so I will be the first to admit I had no idea what I was looking at when Jess and I went for our sonogram. When the doctor told me it was a boy I took her word for it because it all looked like a jumbled up blur to me!

Well of all the most recent sonograms we just had done this was the best one I could tell what I was looking at. Is it bad that I can’t tell what I’m looking at for most of them? I don’t think so but I clearly not an expert in this sonogram thing! We go back for another appointment in a few weeks and we should have some better pictures at that time. Hopefully we’ll get a 3D picture! Now that would be right up my alley! For now here goes what we got.

BTW….no name has been chosen yet so for now he is still just a “he” or “him”

Well it’s been a week or so now since we found out we are having a boy and I am ever so excited. Everybody would ask us what do you think it is or what do you want? My answer originally was that I wanted a boy but as time came closer to have the anatomy ultrasound I warmed up to having a girl so much I was convinced we were having a girl. What a surprise right?! When we found out it was a boy we are having I was elated to say the least I thought it was time I post a quick shot of the bump and I will keep regular shots on here covering the growth of my baby boy!

This couldn’t come at a better time because we just bought a new house in Warrenton, VA. Jess’s dad and I did some renovations in the house also. Stay tuned for a few before and after shots! In the meantime here is this weeks installment of the bump shot!
