So as Jess and I arrived at Jenna’s parents house to start the days shooting with her getting ready Jess saw their cat and sure enough, The cat was rockin’ a Tux! To top it off he had his fur shaved like a lion with a ball of fur left on the top of the tail! This was just the beginning to an awesome day for Jenna and Matt!
So If I told you the amazing background behind the altar was covered in scaffolding and construction equipment just 4 short days before the wedding you may not have believed me! I know, I almost didn’t believe it with my own eyes but that was the case. St. Raymond of Penafort in Springfield, VA was just finished and what a job was done! The detail was just amazing!
Jess and I had a blast with Jenna, Matt and their bridal party getting some great shots! Oh and if your wondering about the pic inside the limo…it was a little warm out on Saturday. The AC in the limo was just kicking on…
I can’t even say how important the couples time is to me as a photographer. To have a couple dedicate 30-40 minutes for just couples pictures is like a dream come true on wedding day! Thanks for the time guys!
Since Matt is working on career in medicine who could have asked for a more appropriate groom’s cake than a model after the game Operation?! Remember that game? Don’t touch the sides or you’re gonna get that nasty sound and the nose lights up red! I had to include a shot of that because the work on the cake was awesome and it brought me back to my childhood for just a moment!
As the reception got kicked off Greg Haynes kept us rockin throughout! He did such a great job he had Jenna using Matt’s tie as a mic…never thought that was possible? Just check her out! The rendition from the Men in Black dance was nothing short of awesome as well. I could go on about how much fun we had with this couple but the pictures will do a better job at talking for me! Congrats Jenna and Matt! We had a ton of fun working with you guys and can’t wait to hear about and see the family grow!
